The Town of Radville is a picturesque community of 850 located on Long Creek in South Central Saskatchewan. The rich farm lands of Saskatchewan's famous plains extend north of the town site while the rolling hills of the Missouri Coteau to the south provide area ranchers with grazing land for their herds. Quiet, well-treed streets characterize this quaint Saskatchewan town; a tribute to the "Proud Prairie People" who built it.

The community began as a settlement adjacent to the Canadian National Railway, which arrived in 1910. Incorporated as a village in 1911, and later a town in June of 1913, Radville is named, in part, for Conrad Paquin, whose undeveloped farm the town is built on. Its name was created using the last letters of Mr. Paquin's first name and the French derivative of "ville" to denote the settlement. Radville grew quickly as it became a major rail transportation hub and began to serve the homesteaders of the R.M. of Laurier #38.

Today Radville serves the surrounding area with goods and services provided by over 100 businesses encompassing retail, service, manufacturing and entertainment. The community boasts a hospital, with long term care facility, two physicians, an EMS service and a pharmacy. The town has two schools serving the needs of students from kindergarten through grade twelve. Entertainment facilities include curling and skating rinks, ball diamonds, a public swimming pool, rodeo and motor sports facilities, nine hole golf course and programs that appeal to all ages. Radville's Catholic and Protestant churches round out a full range of services available in a pleasing rural setting.

Radville's location, next to the hills of the Missouri Coteau, makes it a favourite for local sportsmen and visitors from as far away as the southern United States. Hunters and fishermen return to the area year after year for the gaming opportunities that Radville area offers. Tours of the Coteau and the Big Muddy Valley, the unique topographical features of the area, and the many historical sites associated with the Red Coat Trail give tourists the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and history of Radville and area. Visitors at the end of a busy day may enjoy a meal at one of Radville's fine restaurants or retire to a quiet campsite at the Regional park.

The town's business sector has created exciting opportunities for new and existing businesses alike and welcomes inquiries related to new development. With an abundance of serviced land available, at an economical price, real estate development is also encouraged. The Radville Economic Development Committee may be contacted for any assistance needed in exploring these opportunities.
